The central section on the front side of the hill is an area that lays between the path from Orne Street and the path from Pond Street. It contains about 250 headstones arranged in almost 30 somewhat irregular rows. |

Hannah Doak (1775) |

Many headstones have masterfully inscribed lettering. A careful examination of the Hannah Doak stone reveals guidelines carved by the stonecutter. The small stone to the left and behind the Hannah Doak headstone is the footstone for Elizabeth Parker. In Memory of Mrs Hannah Doak, Wife of Mr James Doak died Novr 4th 1775 Aged 26 Years & 6 Months. |
