George Bonfield (1690/1691)

Among headstones of this time, it's not uncommon to find spelling differences for the last names of members of the same family. George's headstone has "Bonfield" inscribed. In the next row, just after the path from Orne Street, is Rebekah's headstone, which has "Bonfild" as the last name. In the cluster by Redd's Pond, you'll find the headstone for Mary Lattimer and the one for her husband, Christopher Lattimore.
